The Life and Faith of a FIFA World Cup Soccer Player

As the most-watched sporting event in the world, the FIFA World Cup is the holy grail for soccer players in pursuit of goals and glory. But Brazilian soccer star Paulo Silas Pereira, simply known as “Silas” in Brazil, found something that soccer fame could never provide: a faith in Jesus that sustained him through victory, failure, and life beyond the stadium.
